How the calculation works

After at least one eligible service year: basic daily wage = monthly basic wage / 30.

Full-time formula = 21 daily wages × first five service years + 30 daily wages × later years.

Apply the two-year qualifying wage ceiling and the entered part-time hours proportion.

Worked example

With payroll-confirmed 7 years, AED 10,000 basic monthly wage and AED 15,000 total wage, full-time gratuity is AED 55,000.
